Something Tasty is a collection of short stories where food is usually the main character. The stories are generally less than a 10-minute read, to be enjoyed in the car, on the train, or while waiting for someone or something. I hope they will entertain you and make you hungry. I hope they will inspire you to eat well and cook more at home. I also hope they will make you laugh!
After penning food and travel stories for nearly 20 years, I’ve recently gone back to writing fiction. I plan to post a short story every few weeks with food being an important part of the narrative. Since I love to cook and pretend to hate baking, this should give me ample opportunity to hopefully weave the craft of storytelling into something tasty.
I have been lucky enough to live in Munich, Germany, London, England, Syracuse, NY, Brooklyn, NY, and Long Island, NY. I now live in the Mohawk Valley in Upstate New York with my husband Lynn.
I wrote about our 1850’s house renovation on my first blog, The Redhouse Project. In 2019, I started a new blog, Let’s Go, with the bulk of my writing focused on travel and food.
I have published two books so far - Get In the Car: A Food and Travel Memoir and a collection of short stories, The Camp People. Both are available on Amazon.

And you can find me, here, writing Something Tasty.
